Fireworks on Devils Lake

If you haven’t spent the 4th of July on Devils Lake you’ve missed a great way to enjoy the holiday.  After you’ve taken advantage of the many activities available in the surrounding communities it’s time to settle in for a spectacular fireworks display on the lake.  The open vista of the lake provides a great way to enjoy the many family displays that line the lake’s shore.  While some of these display may have used a liberal interpretation of what is a legal firework, there were three residents what sponsored legal, licensed pyrotechnical displays.  They were serious in their attempt entertain those on the lake.  Whether you were nestled by a campfire making somemores, or on a boat floating in the middle of the lake the display’s were colorful and lengthy.  The evening was calm and warm making this one of the most memorable 4th of July’s we’ve had.
