Candidate Profile: Jack Strayer

Director, Position 1, 4-year term ending June 30, 2015

I have been a property owner on Devils Lake since 1982, where my family and friends have enjoyed a wide variety of water related activities.

I have been a long time member of the Preservation Association of Devils Lake (PADL). I believe strongly that the lake should be preserved and enhanced to provide high quality recreation while being managed in an environmentally friendly manner for fish, wildlife and the ecosystem. I have worked hard to incorporate these values into the Devils Lake Plan and to be responsive to the issues raised by those interested in Devils Lake.

We owe it to ourselves, our children and future generations to carefully consider lake improvement decisions. If reelected, I promise to continue to assure that Devils Lake is, managed responsibly, efficiently, and effectively.
